Current Designs Dimension Adjustable BackRest
The "Dimension Adjustable BackRest" is a densely padded articulating Seat Back that combines form, function and comfort like never before.
Quick and easy height adjustment for this backrest allows for easier wet entry, spray skirt attachment, rolling your kayak as well as trouble-free kayak transport. This fully articulating padded backrest encourages and enhances the complete range of a paddlers motion for proper paddling techniques. All while providing superior comfort and support that will drastically increase your paddling enjoyment, as well as your time on the water!

Backrest is nicely padded for all day comfort.
Backrest pivots to move with your body.
Backrest is easily adjusted up or down to find that sweet spot on your back.

Fits all new, OR older model Kestrel, Vision, Vision sp, Double Vision, Breeze, Whistler, Pachena, Solara, Storm, Squall, Solstice, Titan, Nomad, Equinox, Extreme, Expedition, Unity, Libra, and Squamish kayaks made by Current Designs. Plastic or composite kayaks OK.
These models have a perpendicular groove in the seat pan where the backrest is held down by a bungee cord and a strap is used to adjust backrest angle. You can easily upgrade your previous seat back with this more comfortable, more adjustable Dimension Seat Back. Generally, you will re-use your existing bungee and backrest adjustment strap for the new backrest. If your bungee or strap is worn, we do sell them in our store.
Dimension Adjustable BackRest is shown here with Current Designs "UltraLight Composite seat". Dimension Adjustable BackRest is also compatible with Current Designs "Revolution seat" -as well as seats in all the models mentioned above.
The Dimension BackRest may Not be fitted into British or Greenland style boats that come standard with a back band. We do Not see this fitting into non-Current Designs brands.
