The Voyager is about as efficient or fast as a canoe can be (except for full on race canoes) and yet it's still quite stable for an average paddler, even with a pile of gear.
When Dave Kruger designed the Voyager, he knew he had a fast, capable canoe for big waters with plenty of gear. It is very responsive, yet easy to paddle and friendly for paddlers of all abilities.
Designed for the solo paddler with big plans, the Voyager is at home on large lakes and rivers. If you're looking for a Solo that'll take on big lakes like Opeongo and Lady Evelyn, or the Finger Lakes, or big rivers like the Susquehanna or Hudson, this is your canoe. This hull is the solo version of our legendary Minnesota II, with its incredibly efficient, straight-tracking and capable of carrying two-weeks gear. Loaded or empty, it's the benchmark for solo trippers.
Voyager offers a unique blend of speed, stability and capacity. Extra fullness throughout the middle gives this canoe just enough capacity for a week in the wilds for lite packers. Our sliding bucket seat keeps you in the center and can be adjusted for or aft to balance gear, or as winds dictate. Our SuperSeat backrest for bucket seats fits on easily for extra comfort.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

We usually ship in stock orders within a few days. Occasionally, we may send items direct from the manufacturer which may take longer. If you have concerns about getting your order by a certain date, proper fit or sizing it would be best to place your order by phone so you can ask us your question.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
