Rheaume, made in Canada by Master Canoe builders for over 35 years.

Over the past several decades we have owned, paddled and gotten well acquainted with the Rheaume models. In the past few years Rheaume has re-focused on building composite and cedar canoes with their own name on them. For most of the previous years they built canoes for quality brand names such as Orvis, Eddie Bauer, Old Town and more. Fiberglass -our fiberglass is high-tech, good durability at a modest weight.
Our Fiberglass canoes may have either PVC gunwales, Premium Wood gunwales or Luxurious Carbon-Kevlar composite gunwales.
Available colors: Red, Ruby, White, Mango, Blue, Lite Blue, Aussie Green or Forest Green. Plus special colors olive or grey.
Infusion molded for the finest quality available.

Fibrex (tuff sfuff) -our premium blend with fiberglass and innegra fibers for maximum durability and stiffness at a modest weight.
Fibrex models are similar in weight to our Fiberglass version. Our Fibrex canoes may have either PVC gunwales, Premium Wood gunwales or Luxurious Carbon-Kevlar composite gunwales. Available colors: Red, Ruby, White, Mango, Blue, Lite Blue, Aussie Green or Forest Green. Plus special colors olive or grey.
Infusion molded for the finest quality available.
Layup: Fibrex is an Expedition Layup.

Kevlar Fusion -our premium Kevlar blend for great durability at a very light weight.
Our Kevlar canoes may have either PVC gunwales, Premium Wood gunwales or Luxurious Carbon-Kevlar composite gunwales. Available colors: Red, Ruby, White, Mango, Blue, Lite Blue, Aussie Green or Forest Green. Plus special colors olive or grey.

Carbon Fusion -our premium carbon fiber blend for premier elegance and lightness.
The look of our Carbon Fusion is spectacular, but it also provides the absolute lightest weight and excellent performance.
Our Carbon canoes may have either Premium Wood gunwales or Luxurious Carbon-Kevlar composite gunwales. Carbon hulls may have either an interior of Kevlar OR basalt with innegra. Carbon exterior have either a clear carbon exterior, OR a clear carbon exterior with a gelcoat bottom.

Our knowledge, skill and passion for canoe building goes back over 35 years, allowing us to be the best at what we do.
Each component on our canoes is fitted and finished by hand for impeccable quality.
Wood Canoes may have either a clear epoxy + varnish exterior OR a painted epoxy exterior color OR a traditional painted Canvas exterior.
A keel is optional.
