"Fin Style" rollers shown above are inserted into the rear door gap.
Do not lift the door or drive with the Roller inserted, it's just for loading and un-loading.

Specify if you need the Fin style, or Velcro style or Magnetic style.
Fin Style
The FIN style with a bottom "fin" to simply drop into the "crack" in the roof where the rear door meets the roofline. (Fin depth is 1 3/4".) Works with most SUV and minivan type vehicles with a rear lift door. Check your vertical depth with hard ruler and available straight line width.
Load the boat, lift the roller out and put it away.
You need 1 3/4" depth in the crack of your rear door to use this roller. If your vehicle has a curved rear door gap, you may want the 8" Fin Roller.
Notes: 2008-2012 Honda CRV and Mercedes ML300 are no fit with fin style -see our magnetic style} Ask about our Rav4 version; fin depth is 1.5" Use 8" Fin Roller with Chevy Suburban.

Velcro Style
The VELCRO style comes with a flat bottom (no fin) and will simply "Velcro" to the flat surface of most vehicles that may have a swing or lift type rear door. Also fits most car rooflines, trunk lids & pickup truck opened tailgates. Industrial grade Velcro is used to adhere this roller while you slide your kayak on – then simply remove. The one piece of Velcro will stay in place on the vehicle for next time. (Decide if you like the Velcro idea over the scratches.)
Notes: Velcro generally sticks to the vehicle for many years. Extra Velcro strips are available for future seasons, or other vehicles.

Magnetic Style
The MAGNETIC style comes with a flat, magnetic bottom (no fin) and will simply "stick" to any, flat metal area of a vehicle that may have a swing or lift type door. Also fits most car rooflines, trunk lids & pickup truck opened tailgates. A powerful magnet is used to adhere this roller while you slide your kayak on – then simply remove.
Notes: The Magnetic Style SUV Roller requires a flat metal surface. If your vehicle does not have an appropriate metal surface, use our "Fin" or "Velcro Style" rollers.
