SplashDeck Half Skirt, custom

This Custom made Splash Deck is larger than the Splash Deck, but shorter than the Splash Deck X.
Our Custom Splash Deck protects you from the sun and occasional splashes but leaves the rear part of your cockpit open around your body.
This is the medium of 3 sizes we make for one person kayaks. We also make a size for tandem recreation kayaks.

Custom Splash Deck Features:

• Medium-weight coated nylon packcloth is durable and light.
• Large zippered mesh pocket for easy access.
• Our built-in adjustable implosion bar gives the skirt a domed shape, so water runs right off instead of pooling.
• Double-stitched and taped seams.  Sturdy and Waterproof.
• Adjustable bungee cord for a more custom fit onto your kayaks cockpit rim.

We use a longer length bungee so this is very adjustable (just add another knot to the bungee, in front of the original knot, to customize the tension for your particular kayak.)

We started this design to fit a few kayaks that don't conform to the standard sizing.  Another issue we resolved was to have more open space in the cockpit (between the skirt deck and the paddler, so the skirt deck is not up to your belly.)  Now this is our best selling Splash Deck size since we sell so many recreation kayaks that it fits great on.

Recommended for cockpit sizes 4.2 to 6.7 {or cockpits about 40 to 52 inches long.} We generally use the Drape X on #7.0 cockpits like the Vapor or Pungo but this Custom version will fit just fine if you like a bit more room between you and the skirt deck. 

You can use this Custom Splash Deck on kayak models listed for the Splash Deck X if you prefer a bit more room between the skirt and your belly.

This item is Great for the Tupelo 12 or Tupelo 12.5 by Jackson Kayaks! No skirt is good on a Tupelo LT since it has much less cockpit rim to grab compared to the Tupelo 12 or 12.5
