The PERCEPTION + DAGGER rudder kit 8027056 fits Many classic model and current model Dagger or Perception kayaks. The PERCEPTION rudder kit -Long Pin 8080048 is the same sort of kit but includes the Keepers XL type of foot pedals instead of the standard Keepers pedals.
These kits are designed to fit kayaks with a molded hole at the stern end, to receive the rudder pin. The rudder can also be attached to a rudder bracket (not included.) The pin on this rudder in fairly long, accommodating up to 3 inch thickness where the pin passes thru.<br>This kit may also be used on tandem kayak models; the way this kit is setup only the rear person controls the rudder, using the rear set of foot pedals.

Each Rudder kit shown here includes: hardware, instructions, foot pedals and tracks to turn the rudder right or left, with Spectra type rudder cables, tubing to mount the rudder cables, rudder body assembly, with lines to raise and lower the blade in or out of the water.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
