Rim Grip technology, and our adjustable bungee fit system takes cockpit covers to the next level. Our "Standard" nylon cockpit cover has features you won't get on those imported covers. Over 50+ years in the kayak business has taught us a thing or two about cockpit covers.

We've enhanced performance by adding a Rim-Grip technology to our 1/4" shockcord sleeve and our adjustable bungee fit system: this secures the cover to the cockpit rim better than other covers we've seen.

Our Standard Covers have a special Rim Grip 1/4" shockcord sleeve that holds the cover securely onto any good kayak rim. (Basic covers do not have Rim Grip.)

Our Standard Cockpit Cover is Made in USA of urethane coated, double stitched, medium weight nylon packcloth.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

We usually ship in stock orders within a few days. Occasionally, we may send items direct from the manufacturer which may take longer. If you have concerns about getting your order by a certain date, proper fit or sizing it would be best to place your order by phone so you can ask us your question.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
