The RS 117 offers a new standard for budget-conscious kayak anglers, providing them an affordable opportunity to RISE up into a premium, authentically designed fishing kayak that’s made in the USA!
With a Hybrid Catamaran hull (similar to our SS series), the RS117 is a very stand-able platform that offers an excellent balance of stability and paddling performance. Add in the top-notch deck layout with all day comfort and an “it just makes sense” array of features, and the RS117 is the perfect boat to get you out on the water, paddling and fishing, with friends and family!
The RS117 maintains a modest width of just 33.5 inches, with stability and tracking that outperforms many wider (and heavier) kayaks. The RS117 hull weight is just 65 lbs.
Comfort and organization are key components of the RS117. The new Stadium Seat is light weight, easy to adjust, and has two seating positions, allowing all day comfort to make those long days on the water possible. From bow to stern, a wide array of features such as YakAttack MightyMount XL track, centralized storage pod, Shield Frontwell Cover with integrated Paddle Pouch, and forward transducer friendly scupper, make the RS117 one of the most fully featured values in kayak fishing.
Getting on the water is easier with the RS117. The oversized FatGrip Handles (bow and stern) are integrated to the hull in ergonomically friendly locations, making carrying comfortable and easy. Side handles assist in car topping and are also designed to help retain your paddle or fishing rod.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

We usually ship in stock orders within a few days. Occasionally, we may send items direct from the manufacturer which may take longer. If you have concerns about getting your order by a certain date, proper fit or sizing it would be best to place your order by phone so you can ask us your question.
All orders shipped via UPS or US Postal Service at our discretion.

We can often quote shipping for you within NY State.........Also, we have a truck going from NY to FL each month........And, we have a truck going from NY to New England 2x per month........if you would like to buy some canoes or kayaks from us,....please call us, ph;(585) 682-4849 or email us for a quote.
Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
