The square stern Mallard is short enough to fit into the bed of a truck (12’4”) but spacious enough to hold two full-sized sportsman plus gear. It can be run with either an electric or gas motor (2HP max) and easily paddled like a traditional canoe. Now you can travel farther back from the launch to access more secret hunting and fishing spots that most big boats just can't reach, or just enjoy a quiet day on the water with friends and pets.
Made of T-Formex material the Mallard is lightweight and easily cartopped (59 pounds) and durable enough for many years on the water.
When compared to other flat back canoes our Mallard square stern is VERY light and portable, yet provides more stability with 2 large men plus gear.
T-formex is much more durable than crinkly aluminum canoes.
Mallard square stern is available in Green, Olive or RealTree Camo. Includes 2 Web seats, plus a center portage yoke. (A center seat is in-stock and may be added in place of the yoke.)

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
