Our New XL size Hood Loops provide several more inches to better accommodate situations under your hood. Our XL Hood Loops are Quick, Easy and Effective under the hood of most vehicles we see.
A must for vehicles with plastic bumpers that have no sturdy metal tie down points underneath. Caution! many vehicles these days have rounded front bumpers - straps or lines going down under the bumper can migrate around the corner and get into your tire. Be sure to use Hood Loops on your vehicle to avoid this problem.
- These innovative loops install on the quarter panel bolts under the hood to provide a tie-down attachment. If you don't see such a metal bolt or screw (it may be underneath a removable black plastic cover) you may instead use our Universal Hood/Trunk Loops.
- Lift hood to find such a removable metal bolt or metal screw. Put bolt thru hood loop and then re-install the bolt the way it was.
- The loop is now secure in place, providing a quick, easy and secure method for your bow/stern tie downs or straps.
- It's that easy.
- The web Hood Loop emerges through the gap when you need it. Fold the loop back under the hood when not needed.
We use these XL Hood Loops under the Hood, for a safe and secure trip.
We use one Loop on the right side of the hood and one Loop on the left side of the hood.... then do the same for the trunk or SUV rear door (with our Universal Hood/Trunk Loops.)
Now you can connect each end of your craft to the vehicle for more safety while driving than just strapping the middle to the roof rack. We secure the end with either our Bow/Stern straps or Bow/Stern Ratchet Tie-downs.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
