NEW FOR 2026: Every model in our 2026 fishing lineup now comes equipped with the Jackson Kayak Comfort Seat 5.0. Designed with a deeper ergonomic base for better posture and lower center of gravity, the 5.0 delivers improved support, increased comfort, and a more connected feel on the water. It’s the most advanced version of our iconic seat system, now standard across the board.

The Bite FD performs to the high bar of pedaling and stand-to-fish standards associated with the Jackson Kayak name. The Bite FD has been upgraded to the Comfort Seat, which is the perfect combination of breathability, drainage and comfort in a framed seat not traditionally found on price point kayaks. 

The Bite FD features an open concept deck design with our groundbreaking Flex Drive Mark IV System. This system is specially designed to retract the propeller into the hull, making it perfect for beaching or navigating submerged obstacles.

Ample storage fore and aft, paired with our updated bungee attachment system with plenty of storage space. Two recessed areas on either side of the Bite FD make quick, easy and secure storage for tackle boxes. Also included are flush mount rod holders and cup holders on both sides of the Comfort Seat.

Four molded-in inserts on the stern of the kayak will accept our newly developed Accessory Mounting Bracket, designed to accommodate accessories with the four-bolt mounting pattern such as a PowerPole or trolling motors.

The Bite FD is versatile, suitable for both freshwater and saltwater adventures. It's ideal for exploring small lakes, ponds, calm rivers, and inshore saltwater environments, offering adaptability across a range of waterways.
