We use these as an upgrade or as a replacement handle. May be installed at the balance point, at either side of the cockpit, side-mounted handles make it easier to lift your kayak solo. May be installed at each end of your craft.
May be installed at center OR at ends of your craft (as structure allows.)
Unless you are just replacing an old handle this may require a drilling to install.
Install with bolts, washers and nuts (our kit includes 1/4-20 stainless steel mounting hardware.)

You may order just the handles, without hardware. Mad River Adventure canoes and some Wilderness Systems, Dagger and Perception kayak models may already have 1/4-20 inserts molded into the plastic for these handles, so you won't need the locknuts.

Sold here as One pair of Comfort Carry handles with or without hardware.

We also sell a similar looking product, Side-Mount Carry Handles with hardware which is mounted differently. And may be better for certain models.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.

NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.

Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.

I had simultaneously ordered a pair of Malone Steeltop Crossbars to attach to the roof rails of my Subaru Impreza; assuming that the Malone bars would be identical to Thule square bars, I ordered the snap-around mounts for the gull wing.
