We have the Ocean Kayak Rudder kit designed for the Ocean Kayak Prowler Trident 11, 13 or 15. We also have the Ocean Kayak Rudder kits for other models.
- Easily attached to Trident, Tetra, Prowler 13, Prowler Big Game, Prowler Big Game II and most other Ocean Kayak models.
- This rudder kit can include new foot pedals and also new tracks to mount them on, or just the pedals to match the type of footbrace tracks you already have.
- Your kayak will need to have 4 nuts molded into the stern of your kayak; these will hold the Ocean Kayak rudder bracket included in this kit.
- If you have an older model, or a different model than what we show here call or email us so we can supply you with a rudder kit and the needed parts.
Specify your kayak model so we may include special parts and instructions for your particular model of Ocean Kayak.
- Prowler Trident 11, 13, or 15ft -specify support track or universal pedals.
- Tetra 10, Tetra 12 -specify support track or universal pedals.
- Prowler 13 -specify support track or universal pedals.
- Prowler Big Game II -specify support track or universal pedals.
- Other (specify model, year, and footbrace type.)
Rudder Kit with Support Track foot pedals: -If your kayak already has the Support Track type of footbraces you can use your existing SupportTrack footbrace tracks with the Support Track foot pedals with cables that we send with the rudder.
Rudder Kit with Universal foot pedals: -If your kayak already has the Universal type of footbraces you can use your existing Universal footbrace tracks with the Universal foot pedals with cables that we send with the rudder.
Otherwise, select the Rudder Kit with new foot pedals and new tracks for use with the rudder (as Shown.) Kayaks such as the original vintage of Prowler 13 and Prowler15 have No adjustable pedals or tracks in them. If so, order this kit with universal tracks and pedals. These early models may also require special upper and lower brackets to hold the rudder.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
