In our Try-Before-You-Buy we see the Tupelo 12 fit a wide variety of Paddler sizes very well.
The 12ft size is higher volume craft with a bit more length width and depth. This results in tremendous stability in calm or choppy waters along with a very easy glide thru the water.
The seat in the 12ft Tupelo is designed in order to provide better a ergonomics while paddling.
The Tupelo is more stable than similar models yet Tupelo is also very light and efficient. In our Try-Before-You-Buy we see folks notice how much further they glide compared to other similar models.
We'll bet that if you only sit in the Tupelo you'll love it, but we'll encourage you to sit in other models we have in stock, just to be sure which one fits You best. The Advanced design of the Tupelo allows a couple who are not matched in size or strength to paddle at a similar pace, without one feeling they must work harder than the other.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

We usually ship in stock orders within a few days. Occasionally, we may send items direct from the manufacturer which may take longer. If you have concerns about getting your order by a certain date, proper fit or sizing it would be best to place your order by phone so you can ask us your question.
All orders shipped via UPS or US Postal Service at our discretion.

We can often quote shipping for you within NY State.........Also, we have a truck going from NY to FL each month........And, we have a truck going from NY to New England 2x per month........if you would like to buy some canoes or kayaks from us,....please call us, ph;(585) 682-4849 or email us for a quote.
Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
