With the trend in price point fishing kayaks tending towards compromise in hull quality, performance, gear management, and comfort, but Jackson Kayak’s Bite Angler doesn’t cut corners.
The Bite performs to the high bar of paddling and standing standards associated with the Jackson Kayak name. The latest Bite Angler shown here has been upgraded to the Comfort Seat, which is the perfect combination of breathability, drainage and comfort in a framed seat not found on economy kayaks.
The open-concept deck gives the paddler one of our roomiest platforms to stand and shoot photos, or simply stretch out and relax. Ample storage fore and aft, paired with our updated bungee attachment system which prevents water from seeping into the hull, means there is plenty of storage space.
Four recessed areas on either side of the Bite Angler make quick, easy and secure storage for small boxes.
Four molded-in inserts on the stern of the kayak will accept our newly developed Accessory Mounting Bracket, designed to accommodate accessories with the four-bolt mounting pattern such as a PowerPole or Torqeedo trolling motor.
The Bite Angler is the perfect combination of comfort, smart and innovative design offered as a great value for recreational paddlers. It's at home across a diverse variety of waterways including small lakes and rivers, ponds, streams and inshore saltwater.
What's the difference is between the Bite Angler and the Bite Rec? Color for one. Also, the Bite Angler includes flush mount rod holders while the Bite Rec does not. You can order the optional deck pad kit which fits on either style. We sell Rod holders, cup holders and paddle holders that mount easily into the aluminum gear tracks which are already installed on the Bite Angler.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

We usually ship in stock orders within a few days. Occasionally, we may send items direct from the manufacturer which may take longer. If you have concerns about getting your order by a certain date, proper fit or sizing it would be best to place your order by phone so you can ask us your question.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
