This compact, playful tandem canoe is ideally suited for whitewater canoe trips that do not demand the length and cargo capacity of a larger (and heavier) tripping canoe. The Pocket Canyon performs well a dedicated whitewater canoe but is also lots of fun for recreation day trips. Our proven design allows the canoe to serve double duty as both whitewater playboat, and technical river runner, yet outstanding for solo expeditions. The Pocket Canyon’s flared hull maintains a dry ride even in large choppy waves and the rockered ends, with a progressive chine, provides a stable carving edge ideal for catching eddies.
You'll find the Pocket Canyon in T-formex LITE to be very practical for the paddler that needs a two-person capable canoe, yet paddles more often solo. This is the lightest tandem canoe you can buy that is not afraid of rocks. Balance and maneuverability are outstanding for the solo paddler while facing center in the bow seat.

Pocket Canyon is available in T-former LITE (orange.) Very good durability and lighter weight all in one great canoe. LITE models have a lighter hull, as well as lighter gunwales, lighter seats and lighter thwarts.
While less robust compared to the original T-formex, this T-formex LITE version is still Much less likely to crack when compared the most rugged options from Swift or NovaCraft. When compared to other canoe materials, T-formex LITE is VERY light and portable, yet provides much more durability. In our experience T-formex LITE slides over shallow rocky areas with much less damage than composite canoes, including those costing 3X more!

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
