Our customers Love this kayak! Most everyone expects the Sandpiper to be very stable, but many are surprised how easily she slips thru the water. The large cockpit makes getting in or out a breeze, even from a dock or boat deck. Take along your little kid, your dog, your camera, some more gears, oh - and don't forget the fishing rod. It's stable enough to land a big one... and So Much lighter than those "fishing" kayaks.
The Sandpiper is fast and easy to maneuver in those backwaters while bird watching and small enough to fit on your compact SUV. Heck, it’s so easy to paddle you just might want two.
With a large cockpit and great stability, the Sandpiper makes getting in or out of the kayak a breeze, even from a dock or boat deck. At 12 feet long, the Sandpiper comes with a comfortable fixed seat that suits paddlers of many sizes. Knee pads cushion the coaming with the 8" bow hatch and 10" stern hatch, along with ample deck space, providing plenty of room for gear storage.
Best Feature: It's a tie -Hull shape and Comfort... The Sandpiper 120 comes with an Extra-Large, thickly padded adjustable backrest, a cushy seat and Deluxe Knee Pads that wrap around the cockpit rim and under the deck. The Low profile and shallow Vee hull shape make this kayak super easy to glide in a straight line, and nearly unaffected by wind.
Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

We usually ship in stock orders within a few days. Occasionally, we may send items direct from the manufacturer which may take longer. If you have concerns about getting your order by a certain date, proper fit or sizing it would be best to place your order by phone so you can ask us your question.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.

I had simultaneously ordered a pair of Malone Steeltop Crossbars to attach to the roof rails of my Subaru Impreza; assuming that the Malone bars would be identical to Thule square bars, I ordered the snap-around mounts for the gull wing.
