Like its namesake, the pretty little falcon who flies with uncanny efficiency, this attractive addition to the Current Designs product line has purpose.
The Kestrel is quick enough to use for exercise while providing a reliable and comfortable platform from which to paddle, fish, take photos,
observe wildlife or simply enjoy a relaxing jaunt across favorite waters.
Day trips are enhanced by its generous cockpit for ease of entry and exit.
Comfortable knee pads provide leverage while you paddle.
The paddler is provided with ultimate comfort and stability, while the cushioned Revolution seat system and adjustable Dimension back rest offer hours of relaxing kayaking.
Gear has its place too in the Kestrel's surprisingly large FlipLock rear hatch with a sealed bulkhead.
This is a straight-tracking, easy-maneuvering kayak that brings the term "recreational" to a new level.
In the wilderness or on local waters the Kestrel has a distinct place, which is to blend the efficiency and tracking of a sea kayak in a much more portable and user friendly size.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
