The Crew can be set up for solo or tandem paddling. It's easy to relocate one of the seats to center for solo.  The cockpit area is ideal for a variety of paddlers since there is sufficient leg room while allowing very secure casting platform and control.  A top-quality seat allows the paddler to adjust height quickly, should conditions demand it.

At Crescent, we are so passionate about paddling performance, and the CREW is no exception. Our patented hull design and full-length keel keep you tracking straight in all conditions. The bulbous nose provides extra buoyancy with a paddler in the bow and the rocker profile provides superior maneuverability in both tandem and solo seating configurations.

STORAGE
In designing the CREW, we set out to create the ultimate paddling platform for all types of waterways without sacrificing comfort. The 2+1 design is easy to adjust, with adjustable straps for every configuration. On solo paddles, the tankwell doubles in size with ample room behind the center seat for an additional cooler. Our mesh-backed framed seats adjust to fit any sized paddler. Four cupholders provide plenty of hydration storage and the large rear tankwell can accommodate a cooler or large dry bag, secured with bungees.

SEATING
Keeping with the Crescent standard for all day comfort, the 2 Frame Seats in the Crew sit higher off the floor than traditional kayaks.
This allows a more ergonomically correct seated position for all day comfort.
The higher seat makes it much easier to get in and out of the kayak when compared with the notoriously uncomfortable low seats found in traditional kayaks.
The seats have great lower back support and adjustable support straps that enable you to adjust the tension to tune it to your personal preference.

STABILITY
We wanted to create a kayak that could carry a tremendous amount of weight without compromising stability. That's why we designed the CREW to accommodate a whopping 500lbs without scuppers (600lbs with scuppers). At 35" wide, the beam of the kayak, paired with its second stability, will give you confidence on the water—whether you're paddling by yourself or with your CREW.
