Our Wenonah Fisherman offers a unique blend of excellent stability and easy paddling in a compact size. Extra fullness throughout the middle gives this canoe extra capacity along with rock solid stability. The bow and stern height are kept low to catch less wind but with lots of overall volume for capacity and riding over boat wakes. 2 web seats keep you centered in the canoe and provide versatile seating, solo or tandem.
Our comfortable SuperSeats are easily added to the existing seats, these provide a padded seat and supportive backrest while you paddle. SuperSeats can face either direction and they are quickly removed for cartopping.
Go paddling for the day OR for a weekend.

Designed for young families and sportsmen, the Fisherman is a stable platform for outdoor enjoyment.
Short and wide, the Fisherman delivers easy turning and lots of initial stability.
Its relatively flat bottom is very steady on fair waters, and its broad beam draws just inches.
The Fisherman's easy control and shallow draft give access to areas that would be difficult for another craft.
Being that it is a stable, small hull, the Fisherman is an ideal choice for use at camps or at a lake cabin where kids will often use it.
Since youngsters are light, they find it to be a fine paddling canoe that is also safe on waves due to its good depth.
Adults, however, like the Fisherman for wildlife viewing, star-gazing, or other uses that do not include big waves, heavy loads, or long travel. Older folks landlocked by the bulk of their old plastic or fiberglass canoe will be able to continue their passion out on the water with our Kevlar ultralight at just 36 lbs.
Our Fisherman is often used by one OR two people for recreation paddling, hunting or fishing.
Fisherman has good depth and volume in the center with fine entry at both ends. Ample free-board is maintained when loaded with gear for the day or weekend.
Kevlar Ultralight and a versatile layout makes the Fisherman not too large for a relaxing afternoon paddle in tandem OR solo mode.
Most of our customers expect the Fisherman to be very stable due to the wide beam. Quite often they are surprised how easily it moves thru the water, since so many other recreation canoes are not nearly as efficient.

Although we have a great selection right now, our suppliers have told us supplies will be tight for the 2026 season. Demand for kayak and canoe related items is at an all time high. Due to complications, supply chain issues and also unprecedented demand, many of our suppliers are taking longer to fill our orders.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
