The Power Paddle features 5 forward speeds, 3 reverse speeds, and a 36" unbreakable composite shaft.
The “Power Paddle” was originally designed in partnership with Old Town Canoe Co and Minn Kota. Since those early days the motor has evolved and improved along with technology, but we still call it the “Power Paddle”. -It's still a great choice for the canoeist looking for a reliable motor.
The two lower "fishing speeds" allow you to troll slower and not out-run the fish. The slower speed also draws less power, and provides 1/3 more running time. At the highest speed, 40 pounds of thrust gives plenty of power to handle wind, waves or heavy loads in any canoe.
A great buy for everyone who wants to be out on the water without the noise and mess of conventional gasoline motors.
A great match for many of our Rheaume, Esquif, NovaCraft, Wenonah and Old Town canoes !!
- Side Mount Motor Bracket and 12V deep cycle marine battery not included.
- 30 pound thrust is good for most canoes but 40 pound thrust can handle heavier loads.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
