These innovative loops install on the quarter panel bolts under the hood to provide a tie-down attachment.
Lift hood to find such a removable metal bolt or metal screw. Put bolt thru hood loop and then re-install the bolt.
The loop is now secure in place, providing a quick, easy loop to lash your bow/stern tie downs or straps.

We often use 2 of these on Each End of the kayak or canoe ...Whatever it takes to immobilize the craft, and be safe.We also use these as tie-downs in the bed of a pickup truck. Buckle end of strap with sewn loop is about 14" long. Tail end of strap with sewn loop is about 72" long. Buckle (and strap) easily passes thru the sewn loop if you prefer to not use the s-hook. S hooks may be added any time you wish, by slipping them over the sewn loop.
