The mount for this Scotty RodHolder bolts onto the Vinyl gunwales of most canoes we sell, including Rheaume, Old Town, Wenonah, Esquif, NovaCraft and more. The rodholder can then come on or off the mount in a second or so, leaving a low-profile mount that is flush with the level of the gunnel.
Easy-on, Easy-off, no tools needed. Provides a secure mount for Scotty fishing rod holders and lots of other Scotty items.
You may add various Scotty products to this mount instead of the Rod Holder, such as Bait board, Cup holder, Camera mount, etc. (we sell these items separately.)

The BaitCaster holds a Baitcast or Spinning rod and reel in a cushioned cradle. A slot in the front of the holder allows for a spinning reel to be securely held in position. The rod holder design has a side mounted flange, which leaves the bottom open. This allows for the rod holder to accommodate trigger sticks. Pistol grip rod butts easily clear the sides of the rod holder for quick rod retrieval. Rods can be secured in holder with a soft latching strap which snaps over the top. The rod holder is fully adjustable up and down AND rotates 360° locking into any position you choose. The rod holder is easily removed from the mount with one hand in a second or so.
We make two adapters for this mount. Our larger Adapter is for Vinyl gunwales on Esquif or Old Town Canoes. Our smaller Adapter is for vinyl gunwales on Wenonah or Rheaume Canoes, and other gunwales that are just a bit thinner than the Old Town vinyl type.

Boats that we ship to you MUST be signed for. Any shipping prices on our website are only an estimate; we will confirm actual prices with you via email once we have your order/address.
NOTE; We recommend that you completely unwrap and inspect the boat from one end to the other, making note on the shipping document of any tears in the packaging and/or damage. By signing for it you are agreeing with the shipping company that your boat has been received in good condition.
Once a boat is shipped it is yours. You are responsible to inspect the entire boat and note any damage on the shipping document. We are not trying to be harsh here but simply blunt as to the shipping company's rules.
