Anything you can put on the water you can put on a pair of our Velcro Rack Pads. These pads are thoughtfully designed to protect your craft on the road and also facilitate easier loading onto your roof rack.

Why risk damaging your craft by carrying it directly on an un-forgiving metal bar?  These pads are thick enough and firm enough to cushion your craft and also provide a more secure ride. 

Select a pad similar in width to the width of your craft at each crossbar location. 
Two shorter pads may be used on the same crossbar (one for each canoe gunwale) OR use one pad per crossbar under each kayak, canoe or paddle board.

Cushion Wrap, these black pads completely wrap around the crossbar with a very secure full length Velcro connection.   Regular size fits round Yakima crossbars, square Malone bars or square Thule bars.  Extreme size fits Yakima core bars, Yakima Jetstream bars, Yakima heavy duty bars, Thule aero bars, larger factory racks, and the bars on our Triton LK trailers. 
This style comes in 24", 30" or 36" lengths.

Sit on Top, these thick cushioned navy blue pads sit on top of the crossbar with a very secure full length Velcro connection around the crossbar.  Wide size fits Most factory racks as well as Yakima core bars, Yakima Jetstream bars, and Thule aero bars. 
This style comes in 19", 24", 30", 36" or 42" lengths.

Split Bottom, these grey pads completely wrap around the crossbar with Velcro connections plus bungee ties at each end.   Since the Velcro does not span the entire length of the pad this design is best at straddling a rack tower. Extreme size fits Yakima core bars, Yakima Jetstream bars, Yakima heavy duty bars, Thule aero bars, oversized truck racks, and Larger factory racks. 
This style comes in 30", 36" or 42" lengths.

Heavy Duty, these black pads wrap around the crossbar with a very secure full length Velcro connection.   The Velcro under this pad includes a gap which makes this design excellent if you need to straddle a rack tower. This size fits most bar types we see including factory racks, Yakima core bars, Yakima Jetstream bars, Yakima heavy duty bars, and Thule aero bars. 
This style comes in 30" or 36" lengths.
