Yakima ShowBoat 66 -complete with bars
This versatile load assist roller makes it painless to get your kayak or canoe on top of the vehicle, even if you're loading multiple boats all by yourself. It slides out to protect the rear of your vehicle when loading. Can also slide side-to-side, if you need to load one craft left and another to the right.
To use this product, you'll need some type of crossbars on your vehicle to attach the showboat, and some type of kayak saddle or gunwale brackets to hold your craft.
ShowBoat is Best when combined with Oak Orchard's felt padded Gull Wing Kayak Saddles for the ultimate combination of security AND easy loading of your kayak. Its a good idea to use this with saddles for kayaks loaded right-side-up OR Gunwale Brackets for canoes loaded upside-down.
With ShowBoat you'll only have to lift about Half your boat's weight, saving your muscles for paddling... and making your kayak trips more about fun!

This kit includes a pair of 66" Yakima bars... the ShowBoat Roller slides back and forth on these bars so you can extend the roller out past the rear of the vehicle when loading or unloading your kayak (our picture shows felt padded Yakima Mako saddles, not included.) You will need crossbars to attach the Showboat. Included clamps fit lots of different crossbar shapes and sizes.
