Style #3 rear truck rack
This is our adjustable height #3 style Rear Truck Rack. We include a 48 inch round Yakima crossbar with this rack. So any of our Yakima accessories for kayaks or canoes will fit on this rack.

An Oak Orchard Exclusive! Designed to work with a single Yakima Rack over the Cab (we sell the front rack separately.) Add optional Canoe Brackets OR Kayak Saddles for the ultimate Truck Rack setup.

Easy-On....Easy-Off

This is our quickest installing rack and does the job when others won't. Comes complete with a 48" Yakima bar to carry one canoe or two kayaks. We recommend that you add Bow and Stern tie-downs for a canoe or Kayak on ANY rack for extra safety and security. Load limit (total) 165 lbs. Includes a 48" Yakima crossbar. HD Steel with black finish. Available in two receiver sizes: 2" OR 1 1/4" Note to 5th wheel RV haulers: our #3 Style rack can also be FRONT mounted! You just need a forward receiver hitch. Adjustable Height -we use this rack for compact, mid-sized or full-size vehicles.

Note: Most competitors receiver racks are made in China from thin wall steel. These cheap racks have a lot of wiggle -from every place where multiple pieces join together in addition to the wiggle at the receiver! Since the metal is very thin these connecting points just get even more wiggly over time as the holes get larger. No good Canoe brackets or Kayak saddles will fit on these -so there for, those racks are not really any good for kayaks or canoes!

Our #3 Style rack is HD steel box construction, welded to our HD steel upright is MUCH thicker, and it's topped off with a Yakima bar, so any Yakima accessories will fit on this rack. Unlike those amazon bargains, Our HD steel upright is welded, all one piece, so the ONLY wiggle you get is from your receiver hitch.

Recommended Options: As an alternative to our recommended Stabilizer Straps, we also offer an Anti-Wobble Bracket. Either of these will minimize the wiggle from your receiver hitch on the Style #3 Truck Rack. We recommend you add either the Stabilizer Straps or the Anti-Wobble Bracket. A Hitch Pin is also required. Use one you already have, or you can add one here. Stabilizer Straps, $29.95 –pair. Anti-Wobble Bracket, $24.95 -each. Hitch Pin, $9.95

Our #3 Rack is HD steel with black powder coat finish. Upright is adjustable from 48" to 56" overall height. We use this rack for compact, mid-sized or full-size vehicles.
