Deep Dished Canoe Yoke
A great upgrade in any canoe from your standard yoke since this one has more surface area, more strength and an excellent contoured (or dished) shape to fit on your shoulders with maximum comfort.
These are a very sturdy yoke suitable for heavy canoes but also very comfortable for long portages and quite beautiful to even further enhance your Kevlar or Carbon canoe.
Made one at a time by hand, from select solid wood stock with a durable finish.
Compared to our standard yoke, this one is thicker, wider, with more surface area at the shoulders and dished, or contoured for maximum comfort.

We offer Two styles here....

Dished Ash Yoke, satin varnish. $79.95
Length: 38 inches. Width at widest point, about 4 3/4". Width at end portion, about 2 3/4". Thickness, about 7/8".

Deep Dished Cherry Yoke, oil finish. $129.95
Length: 40 inches. Width at widest point, about 5". Width at end portion, about 2 1/2". Thickness, about 1 5/8".


We recommend that you measure your canoe prior to ordering.
It is best to order an overall size longer than you think you will need, and then cut it to fit YOUR canoe perfectly.
Then simply seal the cut end with exterior grade varnish, polyurethane, or oil.
