Angler Thwart for canoes
Our custom Angler Thwarts add strength and stiffness to your canoe, as well as tremendous versatility due to all sorts of helpful items you can add onto these.
Get organized and more productive with our Angler thwarts!

Solid Ash wood with either a clear OR black, UV-resistant, varnish finish.
Any of these thwarts are easily trimmed to fit your exact canoe perfectly - just seal the cut end with exterior polyurethane or varnish.

Our Black thwarts have a shaped profile with a tapered end cut. -this is easily trimmed at any length and cut angle to perfectly fit your canoe.  Thwart is measured to the longest point (ends are angled.)

Our 36 and 41 inch Straight thwarts have a straight profile and a sealed square end cut.  May be used in the center of a canoe, or trimmed and fitted closer to either end. These are easily trimmed at any length and cut angle to perfectly fit your canoe.
We use our Heavy Duty straight thwart as a base when mounting gear tracks for items like cup holders, depth finder graphs and rod holders since it is much more sturdy, it also has a broader mounting surface compared to factory issued thwarts.
