Extra Wide Canoe Yoke
A great upgrade in any canoe from your standard yoke since this one has more surface area, more strength and a better shape on your shoulders.
Extra Wide Yoke for Wide Canoes such as the Stillwater 12, Discovery 133k or 160k, Rogue River and Rockport by Old Town Canoes. Made from select ash stock one at a time with a durable, UV resistant gloss varnish finish.
Compared to our standard yoke, this one is thicker, more surface area at the shoulders and of course, wider.
Lengths available: 38, 39, 40, 41 or 42 inches. Thickness, about 7/8” Width at widest point, about 3 5/8” Width at end portion, about 2 7/8”
This is a Great choice for Heavier canoes such as the Explorer, Discovery, Guide and Tripper.
Excellent in wider OLD TOWN CANOES such as... 12ft Stillwater, Discovery 133k, Guide, Predator, Osprey. BEAR CREEK and many other wide or hefty canoe models.
Choose your size carefully; the Yoke width used in a particular Old Town model has varied over the years. Old Town only sells yoke sizes that they use to build canoes today... this is often a different width than the same Old Town model that is 20 years old! We stock hard to find sizes for classic or newer model canoes.

We recommend that you measure your canoe prior to ordering. It is best to order a longer size and then cut it to fit YOUR canoe perfectly. Just seal the cut end with exterior grade varnish or polyurethane.
