Standard Yoke for Old Town Canoes
The real deal; from Old Town, Maine. Made from select ash stock one at a time with a durable, UV resistant gloss varnish finish. Very similar to our standard yoke, just a slightly different shape.
Used in OLD TOWN CANOES such as... Camper, Penobscot, Tripper, Discovery, Guide, Predator, Otca and many other canoe models. ...Choose your size carefully.
NOTE; the Yoke width used in a particular Old Town model has varied over the years. Old Town only sells yoke widths that they use to build canoes today... this is often a different width than what is in an Old Town that is 20 years old!
We recommend that you measure your canoe prior to ordering. It is best to order a longer size and cut it to fit your canoe perfectly. Just seal the cut end with exterior grade varnish or polyurethane.
We also offer our Heavy Duty Yoke in more sizes to fit new or classic Old Town models. The Heavy Duty Yoke is stiffer and better for heavier canoes and also more surface area for more comfort on your shoulders.
