Kayak Knee Pads (thigh pads)
Knee Pads (sometimes called thighpads) provide padding inside the cockpit, so your knees are not against hard, or rough-edged plastic.
Used on good kayaks like Old Town Heron, Vapor and Dirigo. Also Fits tons of different kayak brands and models.
Old Town special design pad offers enough pad thickness to make a day on the water comfortable.
Hardware NOT included. Our next item down on our outfitting web page is the Deluxe Knee Pad kit which will include hardware required for most kayaks not mentioned here.

Old Town Heron style: (as shown.) pkg includes knee pads for left and right. Good for Old Town Heron 9 and Heron 11. We use these on Perception and lots of other rotomolded or Plastic kayak models with a traditional cockpit rim (where the lip of the cockpit rim faces inward.)
Old Town Vapor style: (similar to picture but a different hole layout.) pkg includes knee pads for left and right. The Old Town Vapor and Trip models have a plastic flange extending down from the cockpit rim that your knee fits against.
Old Town Dirigo style: (not shown) pkg includes knee pads for left and right. This is a closed cell grey foam material with a peel-n-stick back. Used on some, but not all model years of Old Town Dirigo (others might use a Heron or Vapor style knee pad.)
We stock sizes for Dirigo 106, Dirigo 120, Dirigo 140 and the Dirigo tandem plus (bow or stern cockpits.)
Eddyline style: (not shown.) pkg includes knee pads for left and right. Each Knee pad hooks over the outward facing edge of the cockpit rim, then a peel-n-stick Velcro strip hold the other side up under the deck. Good for Sandpiper and Sky 10 models. We use these on Current Design Kestrel (Kevlar or TCS models) and other kayak models with a composite type cockpit rim (where the lip of the cockpit rim faces outward.)
