Old Town Padded Kayak Seat with mounting brackets for aluminum tubing, $169.95 -this version is just for a few unique models where the existing seat is mounted to aluminum tubing. See our other listing (next item down) for the standard version of the Old Town Padded Kayak seat if your kayak does Not have the aluminum tubing.

We have used this seat in Old Towns that came with aluminum tubing to hold the seat -such as some classic Loon models, some Dirigo Tandems and Twin Otters.
Different model years of these kayaks may have different seats or a different install method.

*Makes a great replacement OR upgrade seat with comfort and very good back support.
*Notice the backrest is tall, and well padded.
*You can easily adjust the backrest with the support straps on each side.

This version of the Old Town Padded Kayak Seat Kit includes mounting brackets for aluminum tubing, as seen in the current Dirigo Tandem, as well as some Twin Otter and classic Loon models. For this version there would be about 22-23" between the tubing measured across the cockpit. You may need to alter your mounting if your kayak did not come with this seat originally.

Padded Kayak Seat Specs:
Seat Pan: 18" wide, 20" long and about 2" thick.
Support Arms: 6" high, L: 9" long.
Backrest: 15" high, W: 12" wide.

Hardware and instructions are included with this seat. 
Your kayak needs to have aluminum tubing in it to hold this seat, if it does not, please see the other version of the Padded Kayak Seat that we have in stock.
